Toyota

Today we went to a few Toyota attractions - A factory, a car museum, and a building that houses new products from Toyota. For obvious reasons, we were not allowed to bring our cameras in to the Toyota factory. It was awesome to see all of the robots that weld the many car parts together, especially since every car is not the same and the computers know how to weld each car as it progresses through the production line.

The car collection Toyota has amassed is spectacular. They probably had a hundred cars of various brands dating back from the late 1880's through modern day. Some of the cars were really amazing and had to easily be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Some of them were old Toyota's that were unique.

In the new products building we saw some new hybrids and other concept cars. They were interesting to look and think about, but they weren't as cool as the robot show we saw later. One robot they showed could talk, sign things, wave, etc. The other one which was cooler played the trumpet and danced slightly.

Morgan -
What a fantastic car collection! At first I thought they were all Toyotas but then I recognized other brands. The Benz from 1888 and the curved dash 1903 Oldsmobile are the beginning of car history.
Now its another weekend.
Hope your school work is going well.

Hi Morgan: These last 3 posts were terrific. The cars in the museum are really works of art, even though I can't recognize anything. But they are so beautiful.

And the bots are really cool. They seem remarkably human. I didn't watch all of the video of them, but I love the trumpet playing one!

You seem to be having a lot of fun with friends. The temples are so beautiful. I'm glad you can appreciate the beauty. So much in J is exquisitely beautiful.

Will write about recent apt woes in a separate email! Love you - Mom
