It's about noon here and we have just finished our orientation for classes which start next monday. There are some intense rules; for example, if you speak English in class you are thrown out for and lose your points for the day. But, I am in Japan to learn Japanese and not English, so these kinds of rules seem reasonable. I am taking reading, writing, speaking, learning vocabulary, and culture(ikebana and tea ceremony) classes.
This afternoon we are going to the city courthouse to register as aliens in Japan. It's gonna take forever, but then we have the rest of the day free and I am not sure what I am gonna be doing for the evening weekend yet...

Hi Morgan-
All of those classes will be taught in Japanese? You will really learn the language.
You will have to find out from Granma what school of Ikebana she is in.
Thanks for the update!
Dad
